The Elephant Reach Hotel in Tissamaharama is celebrating its seventh anniversary this year and a series of events, specials offers and activities have been planned throughout the year to celebrate this special milestone. Special anniversary, discounted rates will be on offer to all guests, as well as free transportation for groups.

Community welfare projects will be given priority in these celebrations – programs to recognise and award the skills and talents of children in local schools and to provide books and shoes to help in their education.

Elephant Reach Hotel is located in an area that is abundant with wildlife, pristine natural beauty as well as a rich historical heritage that dates back to over 2,200 years. Located nearby are the Yala National Park, the Bundala Bird Sanctuary, sacred religious destinations such as Sithulpawwa and Kataragama and the exotic Kirinda beach.

In commemoration of its seventh anniversary, Elephant Reach will add a Spa to its facilities, and provide guests with the healing and rejuvenating treatments of Sri Lanka’s Ayurvedic treatments. Night camping will be another new experience offered to guests, with luxury camps being established along the coastal belt bordering the Yala National Park.
