The primary students of The Overseas School of Colombo (OSC), had a fun-filled day on April 10th celebrating the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.

An annual fixture in the school calendar, these festivities pay tribute to the host country and its culture and traditions. Accordingly students from Pre-school to Grade 5 were involved in various dances, songs and games, representing the customs of this very important festival. The event was presented by the Grade 2 students.

Parents, Teachers and other staff all participated in the event highlighting the aim within The Overseas School of Colombo to recognise and respect all cultures prevalent in the school.

The Overseas School of Colombo is a fully authorised IB World School offering the International Baccalaureate from Pre-school to Grade 12 and is Colombo’s truly international school.
