The National Mobile Service Provider Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel announced its strategic partnership with the Nokia Corporation to provide a tailor-made package for the new Nokia 105 mobile device.

Nokia 105 is the latest addition to an extensive mobile phone portfolio and its first Ultra Low Cost Handset (ULCH) sporting a price tag of 2,990 rupees, making it the lowest priced Nokia phone ever. This ‘good looking’ handset is sure to be a hit in the local market with its user-friendly interface and unbeatable battery standby time lasting up to impressive 35 days. Key features include Sinhala and Tamil keypad options including entertainment features such as FM radio, preloaded games, a speaking clock and a flashlight. A one year warranty on the Nokia 105, and a six month guarantee are on offer for related accessories.

Mobitel will add value to the Nokia 105 with a special pre-paid package that offers a bundle of free 30 minutes from Mobitel-to-Mobitel, one mTune free for a month and 150 free Mobitel-to-Mobitel SMSs [conditions apply].
