Raffles Institute of Higher Education conducted its maiden exhibition showcasing the work of students from the Interactive Media Design, specialising in Multi Media, Fashion Marketing and Management courses. Themed as ‘Still Thinking’, the array of images exhibited were selected from two curriculum based sources – from Multimedia Design course ‘Photography’ module and from a recent workshop conducted by International Artist Danda Jaroljmek, who is currently the Director of Kuona Trust Centre for Visual Arts in Nairobi, Kenya.
According to Associate Prof Julie Ross, Academic Director of the Institute, Raffles focuses on allowing students to experience the reality of exhibiting their work to the public. The exhibition showcased various samples of photography from several angles, giving students the opportunity to be innovative and explore their ideas.
