It all started with an interest in beauty and hair, her public appearance as Miss Universe Sri Lanka, and a chat with a group of friends, which paved the way for turning a long-term passion into a business.

Bringing calm into beauty is both an art and an intention, and at Société House in Colombo 5, this feeling greets you the moment you arrive. The journey that led to this serene boutique nail and beauty studio began with Marianne Page, whose life has always been intertwined with creativity and care.
Having worked in the beauty industry and later running a café in Melbourne, Australia, she carried with her a simple dream—to create a space where people could slow down, unwind, and enjoy a moment of peace. In March 2025, that dream took shape in the most meaningful place of all.
This vision has always been at the heart of Société House. Her goal with Société House is to uplift the ‘beauty salon experience in Sri Lanka,’ setting out to build a space that doesn’t just offer a list of services but boosts the whole self-care experience. Her belief is simple: “We aim to set Société apart by providing exceptional service and attention that exceeds expectations.”
Walking into Société House feels like stepping into a gentle pause from the city. White walls, soft furnishings, and scented diffusers create an instant sense of calm, setting the stage for what Marianne calls a “spa-like feel.” Many of her clients mention that they feel relaxed the second they walk through the door, a small but significant victory for Marianne, who believes that me-time should begin the moment you walk through the door.
What makes Société House special is the thoughtful way each service is offered. Whether it’s a manicure, pedicure, facial, lash extensions, or waxing, everything is done with a personal touch. One of their most unique offerings is the medi-pedi by Footlogix, especially popular among older guests who appreciate the care given to cracked heels and calluses.
Marianne ensures that all products are high quality, with ‘flawless treatments,’ which her clientele do appreciate, and keep coming back for. The customer base has grown through social media and word of mouth, now forming a loyal community of men and women who keep returning—not just for the treatments, but for the experience itself.

Cleanliness, for Marianne, is not just important—it is essential. She is meticulous about hygiene and has invested in specialized tools and training for her staff. Her peace of mind is rooted in knowing that every guest is treated with the same high standard of care she would expect for herself.
All staff members are Sri Lankan, and Marianne has even brought down a professional trainer from Australia to train her team in lash techniques—her favorite service. This, she says, has been one of the most worthwhile investments for Société House.

The feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive. Clients appreciate the calm, personalized care, premium products, and boutique feel that set Société House apart from the typical salon experience. Its charm lies in its quiet confidence, a small space offering something genuinely different, shaped by love, dedication, and an unwavering focus on quality.
