Hilton Colombo received the Sri Lanka’s Leading Business Hotel award at the World Travel Awards. Described as the ‘Oscars’ of the Travel and Tourism industry by the Wall Street Journal, it is one of the most sought after events in the Tourism calendar. The 2017 Indian ocean gala ceremony was held in the Maldives.
The World Travel Awards was established in 1993 to recognise, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry. Today, the World Travel Awards is acknowledged globally as the ultimate hallmark of quality, with winners setting benchmarks in the hospitality sector to which the industry aspires.
