Harpo’s Pizza, Sri Lanka’s first homegrown pizza brand celebrated ten successful years with the launch of the first wood-fired Harpo’s Pizza Roaming Truck. The celebrations also includes the unveiling of the re-usable multipurpose breakaway pizza box; Harpo’s ’ Retail Range of fresh Pastas and Sauces; first Cone Pizzas and first Pasta Cart.
Harpo Gooneratne, MD, Harpo Productions stated, “It has been an exciting journey for the past ten years, creating and developing a brand, which is now established as the first homegrown pizza brand. I am proud to have been the first to introduce the thin crust homegrown wood-fired pizza in Colombo. Along with it having a few ‘firsts’ with the largest 19” pizza, the launch of the first square 22’ pizza, and now it gives me great pride to launch the first wood-fired Roaming Pizza Truck where our pizzas can be brought to your next party or event”. The truck is designed to offer 50 pizzas in five flavours, provided in Regular 9” or Large 12” pizza sizes along with a selection of Calzone and Cone pizzas. It can be reserved for any events in Colombo. The Pasta Cart offers a selection of Pastas from Spaghetti Agliolio, Penne Alla Arrabiata, Spaghetti Carbonara and Spaghetti Bolognese.
Cone Pizzas are available in 30 flavours at Harpos Pizza Mount Lavinia and Harpo’s’ Retail Range of fresh Pastas and Sauces offers Tagliatelle, Spinach Tagliatelle, Beetroot Tagliolini and Riccota Tortellini in 200g packs. In addition, a range of Arrabiatta and Pesto sauces are also introduced and can be purchased at The Commons Coffee House, Harpo’s Pizza Nugegoda and Mount Lavinia.
