Mobitel announced the winners of its Cash Bonanza lucky draw, with Buvini Charithra Liyanage from Galle being the lucky winner of a brand new luxury Mercedez Benz. Thilak Kumara Ekanayake from Moragollagama received the cash prize of 1,000,000 rupees and Ajith Prasanna, coming from Panadura won the cash prize of 500,000 rupees.
Mobitel also organised a carnival at the Sanath Jayasuriya Grounds in Matara. A host of entertainment activities had been organised throughout the day for the enjoyment of the public, including IOT workshops, a kids play area as well as Mobitel services and product kiosks.
The gaming zone which was powered by the high speed 4G internet connection, beauty culture dental services kiosks were also some of the services that were provided for the benefit of the general public.
The highlight of the event was the special eye clinic. The participating eye surgeons conducted a distribution of 1,000 reading glasses.
