Wattura Resort and Spa is a luxury boutique resort located between Waikkal Beach and Gin Oya Estuary. Welcoming the seasonal cheer of Christmas, Wattura Resort and Spa held the traditional cake mixing ceremony. This joyful event was held within the resort premises. The event was graced by Amit Dhar, Managing Director, Prabath Kariyawasam, General Manager and Zachariah De Silva, Head of Sales and Marketing, Wattura Resort and Spa.
The resort comprises of 27 luxury villas and suites, each with its own distinctive feature. Each villa and suite at the property is designed to offer guests privacy and seclusion, complete with private courtyards, plunge pools and personal butlers. The hotel’s main restaurant Pappali (Papaya in Tamil) specialises in multicultural cuisine coupled with local ingredients, South Indian marinades and Arabic grilling techniques to offer a uniquely diverse menu, which showcases Sri Lankan cuisine with a modern twist.
