Royal Cashews, one of Sri Lanka’s industrialized cashew processing company was conferred with a Gold Star at the ‘Lanka Star Awards – 2019’.
It was presented to ‘Rigid Packaging’ category that was recognized for ‘Premium Sri Lankan King Size Cashews with Premium Sri Lankan nine spicy flavors’.
Dr Ruwan Wathugala, Chairman/MD, Royal Cashews, said, “Royal Cashews use the latest, high cutting-edge technology to process cashew products with hygienic conditions, and world recognized standard methods by professionals and well-trained staff. We pay attention on packaging on par with the quality of products. We cater to Sri Lankan and international markets. Royal Cashews is the only company in Sri Lanka that has been bestowed with all the standard certifications needed for green-oriented cashew processing and packaging. This award was an endorsement on that. Royal Cashews has standard certification ISO 14001:2015 EMS on international green-oriented processing, and ISO 22000, HACCP and GMP standard certifications on standardized food processing. Thus, we are the only exporting company in Sri Lanka that has been bestowed with all the standard certificates required for cashew processing”.
