The Amaya Lake Resort Dambulla has won the award for Best Four Star Hotel at the annual Sri Lanka Tourism Awards 2011. The accolade was presented by the Chief Guest Laxman Yapa Abeywardena, Deputy Minister of Economic Development.Currently in its fifth consecutive year, the Sri Lanka Tourism Awards pays tribute to organisations and individuals for their excellence and inspired achievements whilst contributing towards the strengthening and empowering of Sri Lanka’s tourism industry.
