CÉ LA VI Colombo, the latest restaurant serving modern Asian cuisine with Japanese influence and lounge of the international brand, has created excitement in the nightlife of the city. The rooftop of the The Kingsbury has been transformed into a vibrant and exotic lounge, stylishly furnished with dark red and beige. This outdoor yet partially covered area is the ideal space to enjoy an evening amidst the glamourous views of the city at night.
CÉ LA VI focuses on four pillars, namely cuisine, mixology, entertainment and venues & vistas. The music is specially curated for the lounge and is subtle in its volume so that guests can revel in the elegant setting. From classic modern music representing both past and present as well as RNB, Funk, Hip Hop and House with vocals, each night has a theme. The weekly mixes include Sunset Sessions everyday in the evening from five to nine, Classics Past & Present on Wednesday, Social Function Fridays and Sky High Groove House Music All Night Long on Saturday. In order to ensure the CÉ LA VI ‘genre’ is maintained, DJs have been handpicked for the lounge.

Other beverages include mocktails, hot coffee and classic cocktails as well as a plethora of different spirits and drinks to select from. For a more formal dining setting, the restaurant at CÉ LA VI serves modern Asian cuisine with Japanese influence. A bright corridor decorated with a beautiful bamboo feature wall and miniature glittering lights on the ceiling draws one from the stylish lounge to the elegant restaurant. Serving bold textures and flavours in delectable cuisines that are uniquely CÉ LA VI, the restaurant presents a culinary adventure.
The menu has been developed by the master chefs of CÉ LA VI. And, the dishes served are identical to those served in Singapore and Hong Kong. Thus the cuisine is imbued with flavours that are quite novel to Sri Lanka. The best of ingredients from around the world including Sri Lanka are used to prepare the most authentic of dishes. The variety is absolutely diverse with perfectly curated dishes of beef, tuna, scallops, clams, softshell crabs, duck and many more. Being a Japanese restaurant, sushi and of course teppanyaki are part of the exquisite offering. The teppanyaki grill is on a higher elevation, almost theatrical in its presentation.
