Asia Pacific’s developers, architects, interior designers and real estate agents gathered at the Shangri-la Hotel in Kuala Lumpur for the results of the Asia Pacific Property Awards. Entries were received from companies in 26 countries across the Asia Pacific region. Lord Courtown from the House of Lords was present on stage as Chairman of the Architecture and Interior Design categories committee.
Colombo Courtyard, with its fusion of contemporary style and essence of environmental design includes 32 rooms including 15 Suites. Moreover, it has been certified as the first Carbon Neutral city hotel in South Asia after measuring its Carbon Footprint for the period January 2013 to December 2013, in accordance with the GHG protocol published by the World Resources Institute and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Stuart Shield, President of the International Property Awards said, “We will all now wait to see if Asia Pacific can not only retain the title of best performing region of the world in the International Property Awards but also beat its own record for yet another successive year.”
