The official ground breaking ceremony for the Destiny Mall & Residency was held with the participation of Chief Guest Nimal Perera, Chairman – Urban Development Authority, Major General (Rtd) Qasim Qureshi, the High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Sri Lanka, Hussain Lakhani, founder of Lakhani Group and Imperial Builders and 300 current and potential clients of The Destiny. The new sales site office was also showcased during the occasion.
The gathering was addressed by Azeem T Elahi, Executive Director – Imperial Builders. While expressing his gratitude to the Urban Development Authority and Ministry of Defence, Elahi added, “offering affordable smart living in the heart of Colombo has been at the core of our mission and vision, this has also led to an overwhelming response towards the development, we will not fall short of your expectations, we will exceed them, provide you with the best product in the best location at the best price, rest assured.” He further announced, “Imperial Builders is committed to Sri Lanka and we will go ahead with two additional mega developments in the next six months.”
The High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Sri Lanka, Major General (Rtd) Qasim Qureshi announced his pleasure to see the first Pakistani initiative in the development of real estate in Colombo.
