The Galle Face Hotel announced its appointment as hospitality partner for the annual French Spring Festival that will be held till 14, July 2016. Organised by the Embassy of France and the network of the Alliance Française, the festival features a series of multidisciplinary events celebrating arts and culture from both France and Sri Lanka.
The 5th edition of the French Spring Festival will showcase visual arts, cinema, and musical rhythms ranging from gypsy jazz to contemporary songs.
This year’s festival will give special attention to promoting sustainable practices on Climate Change, with a focus on heritage and sustainable development.
The Galle Face Hotel will host the prestigious Bastille Day celebration of France’s independence, as well as a meeting between experts from France and Sri Lanka who will exchange viewpoints on natural heritage, preservation and the development of eco-tourism.
