British company Go Travels launched their distribution showroom at Cinnamon Lakeside to supply retailers, marking the latest venture in their seven-year presence in the country. A family operation, since 1978, the company has now grown into a large international company with over 18,000 outlets worldwide. The launch will further strengthen their aim to supply Sri Lankan customers and international tourists the best quality travel products. Gary Leslie, Deputy British High Commissioner stated that, “United Kingdom has over 100 companies, which have invested in Sri Lanka. Go Travels being a global brand, will definitely deliver high quality products to satisfy their customers.” Chief Guest at the launch Admiral Jayanath Colombage, Chairman – Ceylon Shipping Corporation noted that, “people do travel more frequently and the purchasing of such quality travel products is on the increase.”
