Hatton National Bank opened their 188th customer centre in Thirunelvely making it the eighth HNB customer centre in Jaffna. A busy bazaar town situated just outside of Jaffna, Thirunelvely has a popular daily market where wholesale and retail trading takes place while the University of Jaffna and the Agriculture Research Centre are also situated in this village.
The Thirunelvely Customer Centre was declared open by the Managing Director/CEO of HNB, Rajendra Theagarajah with a number of distinguished invitees participating in the event. The Customer Centre is fully equipped to provide customers with easy and convenient access to all banking facilities.
Speaking on this occasion the Chief Guest Rajendra Theagarajah said, “HNB has demonstrated its commitment to the people of the Northern Province since the 1970’s through its main customer centre in Hospital Road, with the country’s 30 year old civil conflict finally ending the bank has consistently been part and parcel of the process of bringing normalcy back into the lives of the people living in the conflict hit areas.”
