Geethma and Sashini won gold in the Bar categories at the recently held Chefs Guild of Lanka. “The presence of awards is important to show what we know and how our passions surface excellence,” states Geethma who won in the Mocktail and Cocktail categories. In the kitchen categories Ajith Jayasekera an expert in the field of ice carving made MLH proud by winning Gold Excellent in the category of Showpiece. Others who won Gold were Bandula in the Salt Showpiece category.
MLH also made its mark at the Travel Trade Carrom Tournament by the Travel Trade Sports Club inaugurated in 1976. The team won gold in the categories of Mens Singles, Womens Doubles and Mixed Double while obtaining runners up feat in the Mens Doubles, and Mens Singles.
