With 15 years of service, Nihonbashi has created the perfect Japanese setting to indulge in a memorable culinary experience.Nihonbashi’s Wine Room, which seats four is the path to a refreshingly enigmatic experience for seekers. Being part of the already existing seven private dining rooms at the flagship restaurant at Galle Face Terrace, the Wine Room is located on the first floor. The Wine Room is styled with bamboo and glass mixed architecture and contemporary lighting.Equipped with an i-Pod to let the diners choose the music to suit their mood and menus served on iPads, the Wine Room is the perfect place to entertain that special person or a special business delegation.
Talking about his concept, Nihonbashi’s founder owner, Chef Dharshan Munidasa says “It is not a cellar in the true sense (it is on the first floor) but it’s a place where we store our wines, your memories and the wealth of opinions on the mutual appreciation of wines.
He added, “It is a wine room that I think mixes both the Japanese world and the world of wine, and I hope you find it to be so. It’s a space created to respect wines, and more importantly to enjoy another dimension of Nihonbashi. I hope you and your fellow diners will enjoy the ‘shrine’ we created for our food and great wines”
