Kishan Samarasighe, winner of the Cover Shot Challenge photography competition, presented by Cinnamon for Explore Sri Lanka and powered by BT Store, was presented with a 21-inch iMac computer and a complimentary voucher for a two-night stay at Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts.
The Cover Shot Challenge, which unfolded at the Minneriya National Park focused on The Gathering, where the participants were required to capture alluring pictures of elephants. The challenge saw the participation of many nature photography enthusiasts, who keenly captured captivating photographs of the elephant herd.
The winning photograph was featured as the cover of the October issue of the Explore Sri Lanka magazine. Prior to the competition, the participants were given the opportunity to take part in a workshop conducted at Cinnamon Lodge by Chitral Jayatilake and Wimukthi Weeratunge.
