Talents of seven renowned Sri Lankan artists were showcased at “Saptha”—a collective art exhibition. Gunadasa Wathuwalagedera, Royden O Gibbs, Noeline Fernando, Michael Anthonisz, Sampath Amunugama, Amaresh Pereira and Dinusha Upasena exhibited their works of art, which addressed the hearts and minds of all those who witnessed the event.
“It is certainly a privilege to host such remarkably talented artists to showcase some of their latest and thought provoking art at Villa 82,” commented Dian Gomes, the owner of Villa 82 and the sponsor of the exhibition.
The chief guest at the exhibition was Sharad Amalean, Deputy Chairman – MAS Holdings. The event was witnessed by Nathan Sivagurunathan, CEO – MAS Intimates, National Cricketer, Kumar Sangakkara and many other distinguished invitees. Landscapes, wildlife of Sri Lanka, abstract views of human life, beauty of nature and feminism were a few themes among others that were portrayed by the artists, which spoke of many untold stories.
