As Mount Lavinia Hotel’s (MLH) theme for the season is based on iconic traditions, the celebration of St Nicolas—the patron saint of light—is an important part of the festivities. St Nichaolas Day is about kids and at MLH the Singing Christmas Tree will be the highlight.
With regards to seasonal offerings, the Mount Lavinia Hotel is packed with many forms of entertainment and sensational festive menus that will add on the true meaning of Christmas.
This year’s Christmas tree would be a Singing Christmas Tree. The hotel will also be offering the traditional Christmas drinks such as eggnog, Glüh wine and Kokito as well as other festive beverages from the around the world.
On December 16, 2013, the hotel will host a Charity concert in collaboration with SriLankan Cares. It will feature inspiring talents of Emmanuel Kelly (a contestant of X-Factor Australia) who displayed a touching performance of “Imagine” by John Lennon in the X Factor (Australia series 3).
