IB Diploma students at The Overseas School of Colombo recently had their Graduation ceremony at the School auditorium.
Two years of rigorous preparation culminated in 35 students passing out successfully at this event graced by distinguished guests, parents and well-wishers. The 2013 batch of students have done extremely well to maintain the high academic standards of OSC.
True to its mission to develop the whole person, these students are engaged in a variety of pursuits that develop their individual talent in sports, art, music, engaging in community service projects and instill standards of social responsibility and cultural awareness guiding them to be proactive, concerned individuals. OSC students have received over 65 offers at some of the best Universities around the world, for example, Boston University, George Washington University, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health, University of California, Berkeley, New York University, University of Greenwich, Westminster University, University of Edinburgh, Hull, York Medical School, University of British Columbia, McGill University of USA, UK and Canada respectively.
OSC has been continuously authorised to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) since 1983, and our students have consistently earned higher results than the IB World averages in all aspects of the programme.
