Emirates Airlines’ tour operating arm, Emirates Holidays hand- picked Cinnamon Grand Colombo as the Best Five Star City Hotel in Sri Lanka for an unprecedented second year. The rankings gave Cinnamon Grand top billing with a rating of five, which is denoted as ‘First class standard of accommodation, providing an excellent range of facilities and an exceptional high service level’, detailed in the Emirates Holidays annual holiday guide, ‘A World of Choice 2012-2013’. Just two other city hotels in Colombo have been featured, having gained ratings of four each. The brochure ranks hotels and resorts in Africa, America, Asia, Australasia, Europe, the Indian Ocean and the Middle East, all hand-picked by Emirates Holidays and rated according to its stringent independent ranking table.
