There is something for everyone to look forward to this festive season, as the Mount Lavinia Water Festival promises to be a unique event, providing fun to the whole family and young adults, over three days; December 12–14, 2014. The venue will include all kinds of water sports, water themed rides and games, carnival rides and games, food and will also feature a variety of musical and other entertainment. The event will be open to the general public from 3.00pm to 1.00am, on a cordoned-off strip of the Mt Lavinia beach. The Mount Lavinia Water Festival is organised by the Old Boys’ Association (OBA) of St Thomas’ College, Mt Lavinia, which was initiated in 1886. The OBA has played a yeoman service in supporting the school in its every endeavour and as such the proceeds of the Festival will be directed towards the New Building Fund of St Thomas’ College, Mt Lavinia.
