Expressions 7, the seventh consecutive art exhibition by renowned artist Jayantha Silva was themed ‘Smiling Lankans’. The different smiling faces created a positive vibe in the gallery space.
“I gain satisfaction from portraying our nation’s positive aspect to the world,” said the artist.
The self-taught artist acknowledged his family for giving him the support in his initiatives. Beginning as a child artist, Jayantha Silva has been exhibiting his works for the last ten years.
Jayantha Silva, for whom drawing has become a ritual, is hoping to conduct his exhibitions in foreign countries in order to spread Sri Lankan smiles across the world.
