The Kandy City Centre (KCC) was filled with the chantings of Buddhist Sutras as they organised and conducted the Annual Pirith Ceremony for the third consecutive year to celebrate Vesak as well as to invoke blessings on KCC and the country. Nearly 30 members of the Buddhist clergy participated in the ceremony that was held under the patronage of Mahanayaka of Asgiriya Chapter Ven Udugama Buddarakkitha Thero.
