Aviraté owned by Timex and Fergasam Garments was the proud winner of the first ever best ‘Own Brand Womenswear Award’ at the Sri Lanka Fashion and Apparel Awards (SLFAA) 2013.
This award was a new category introduced to the SLFAA to recognise locally grown designer brands that continue to connect with its target customer base and grow season upon season.
Sri Lanka Fashion and Apparel Awards (SLFAA), was conceptualised by Sri Lanka Design Festival (SLDF) and managed in partnership with the British Council. Some of the most influential personalities, organisations, partnerships and initiatives that have shaped the Sri Lankan fashion and apparel industry were acclaimed at SLFAA, under nine categories for the year 2013––Emerging Designer, Sustainable Fashion, Design Excellence, Technical Excellence, Manufacturing Excellence, Best ‘Own-Brand’ and Game Changer Through Innovation.
Aviraté one of the first premium high street women’s fashion brands in Sri Lanka has grown to a total of five stores in Sri Lanka and nine stores in India.
