The Blue Ocean Group of companies laid the foundation stone for a corporate skyscraper at Havelock Place, Colombo 5. The ceremony was graced by industry professionals and bankers.
The 14 storied building, that will serve as the Group’s head office, will be an all-purpose structure facilitated to host banks, business centres and offices for international corporations.
“We provide total solutions to the condominium and construction industry. In comparison with present market standards, our professionals are highly capable of contributing to improving real-estate value. We want to bring all our companies under one roof where customers can get more services. Blue Ocean Group has already diversified engineering services as well. To cater to market demands, we are also focusing on an office building concept,” said S Thumilan, Chairman, Blue Ocean Group.
He added that while Blue Ocean has undertaken large scale construction projects in Colombo, greater Colombo, Nuwara Eliya and Kandy they are looking at potential opportunities, which will open up with the finalisation of the Megapolis concept.
