‘Chaaya Blu IODA Asian Optimist Championship’ came to an end with the team from Singapore taking the trophy. The opening ceremony saw the performances by the Sri Lankan Navy which infused local tradition.
Chaaya Blu Trincomalee was the official venue for this year’s IODA Asian Optimist international sailing championship hosting 80 visitors from 13 countries. The team from Sri Lanka to represent the ‘Chaaya Blu IODA Asian Optimist Championship’, were the youngest group in the contest.
