Bringing the seasonal cheer and delight to the heart of Colombo, Taj Samudra held its annual Christmas cake mixing celebration that entailed mixing of ingredients weighing 325kg. The cheerful evening was held at the spectacular Samudra Ballroom on the rooftop, and was graced by the presence of many dignitaries including corporate guests as well as leading personalities.
The attractive table of ingredients was designed by the culinary team of the hotel. They were guided by Shamila Kumarasinghe, Sous Chef, Taj Samudra. It took the form of decorative Christmas candles; as such the entire set-up was vibrant and cheerful, reflecting the essence of the season. The bounty of rich ingredients was mixed together by the guests, creating a festive air. The lavish table of canapés and wine along with live entertainment by Wild Fire added flamboyance to the evening.
