Cinnamon Grand recognised and rewarded the loyalty and dedication of long service associates who have served the hotel for periods of over five, ten, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years. A group of 178 staff members were felicitated at the event. Recipients received certificates and gold sovereigns based on their years of service.
The awards night, complete with entertainment, food and music was a memorable evening for the associates and their families.
Notably, N N Jayasundara from the Kitchen Department, H A R S Philip and K G Piyaratne from the Finance Department and H B Manel from the Housekeeping Department were recognised for serving Cinnamon Grand’s team for over 30 years.
They were gifted two sovereign coins each.
