Dharshan Munidasa, owner of Nihonbashi restaurant journeys to the local fish markets to find Sri Lanka’s best ingredients. He will take you to the Negombo fish market where you can find the crabs that we export. Dharshan delves deep into the world of Japanese cuisine and its ingredients as he is a native of Japan. He also takes the viewer to the world’s largest fish market; Tsukiji in Tokyo and also introduces the cuisine of his birth country and of his restaurant. He journeys to Singapore to showcase where Sri Lankan crabs form an integral part in the famous Chillie Crabs of Singapore.
Different episodes will take the viewer around the world to experience the wide range of cuisine the world has to offer. Some episodes will be shot in countries such as Japan and Singapore.
Back in Sri Lanka, Hafele has built ‘Dharshan’s’ kitchen where Dharshan will cook interesting and approachable dishes for the viewers.
