Invitations are now open to take part in the 15th Culinary Art Show organised by the Chefs Guild of Lanka. The event is open for participation to all industry professionals in the hospitality trade. For the first time this year, opportunities also exist for non professionals such as housewives or cake experts to take part in the show.
The food and hotel show is one of the largest in Asia and has been recognised by the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS). The judges for the competition will also be all WACS approved chefs from a number of countries who will be visiting Sri Lanka, especially for the event.
The three broad categories where participants can compete in the 15th Culinary Art Show are Static – Display, Practical – Live and Beverage Challenge – Live. And within these main categories there are several more sub categories totaling 23 different areas where aspiring chefs can compete and showcase their skills and creativity.
