Renowned Italian café and restaurant brand Pascucci opened its first café and restaurant in Colombo. Speaking about this new addition to the Colombo café scene, Dr Sujeewa Lokuhewa, Group Managing Director/CEO of Danaroso Holdings, member of the Universal Group, franchise holder for Pascucci in London and Sri Lanka, pointed out that the consumer today was quality conscious and demanding and able to judge what is authentic and not. “Pascucci is one of the fastest growing Italian café and restaurant brands in Europe and we have been the franchise for the brand in London for the past eight years. We want to bring that experience to Sri Lanka now,” he stated. The restaurant will serve espressos, lattes, cappuccinos and other ranges of beverages, including their signature beverage “Pascuccio”. An array of dishes such as pastas, pizzas, salads and sandwiches will also be available.
