‘JAT Spring Summer Fashion 2014’ raised funds for the project of establishing the JAT Training and Simulation Centre. The JAT Training and Simulation Centre will be set up under the auspices of the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Sri Lanka (SLCOG). The newest addition to JAT’s product portfolio, Permoglaze Paint was also launched at the occasion where JAT pledged to donate 10 rupees per litre of Permoglaze paint sold, helping to raise further 30 million rupees tothe cause.
The fashion show was produced and choreographed by Lou Ching Wong. Lending their support to this venture were 16 star cricketers and some of Sri Lanka’s leading designers and models.
With the objective of total prevention of maternal deaths during pregnancy, through the Training and Simulation Centre, JAT Holdings and SLCOG will also spearhead the venture of creating awareness among people.
Donors may also send in their contributions in cheques drawn in favour of ‘Save the Mothers Fund’, Account No.75303475 at the Bank of Ceylon, Regent Street Branch, Colombo 10. Cheques could also be posted to the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, 112, Model Farm Road, Colombo 8, Sri Lanka.
