The Blue Ocean Group of Companies has announced the addition of an 18 storey apartment complex—King Alfred Palace—to its portfolio of real estate development projects. Located at Alfred House Gardens, Colombo 3, the company marked the beginning of the project with a ceremony to lay the foundation stone in the presence of Naveen Dissanayake, Minister for State Management Reform. Built on 50 perches of land, the condominium will have 72 apartments.
The Blue Ocean Group of Companies also received the approval of the Board of Investment for this project from Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena, Minister of Investment Promotion. The apartment complex will have two and three bedroom apartments, with a view of either the city or the Indian Ocean. The condominium will include an infinity rooftop pool with a children’s pool, a BBQ pavilion, a fully equipped gymnasium, six floors of parking space, a banquet hall, chauffeurs’ accommodation, recreation and dining spaces.
