Chef Publis launched a documentary by the name of Supika Siritha, directed by cinema and television director/producer Bertram Nihal, detailing his life and career. The launch coincided with his 77th birthday and the ceremony also witnessed the launch of three new books authored by Chef Publis, namely Sri Lanka Supavedaye Sinhala Lakuna – a biography, Pubilisge Sri Lankeya Salada and Publis Traditional Cookery Sri Lanka.
The Chief Guest of the ceremony was First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa while Sanath Ukwatte, Managing Director/Chairman of the Mount Lavinia Hotel, Galaboda Gnanissara Thero and many more distinguished guests graced the occasion.
