The third edition of the book “Ranil Wickremesinghe – A Political Biography” written by Dinesh Weerakkody, the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Board of Investment, was presented to President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Secretariat.
The ceremony was attended by Member of Parliament Vajira Abeywardena, President’s Secretary Saman Ekanayake, former Minister John Amaratunga, President’s Special Projects Director Theekshana Abeywardana, and other officials.

This book is about a politician whose public life spans four decades. The image that emerges from the book is of a highly refined and deliberative man who holds progressive views but without a show of passion, unlike other politicians, who value building consensus over bashing their opponents merely for short-term political gain.
