Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo honoured 116 of its associates at the Long Service Awards 2014. Loyal associates were honoured in five long service award categories, given certificates and gold sovereigns for their respective years of continuous service, stretching from five to 25 years with the hotel.
“It is by all accounts an extraordinary feat for an individual to have been working for an organisation for five years, all the way up to 25 years! It shows loyalty and a strong sense of belonging,” said Dermot Gale, General Manager – Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo.
He added that it was the continued effort and support of the employees that led them to overcome any challenges and undertake opportunities.
Award recipients, their spouses, department heads of the hotel and Rohan Karr, Head of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts Sector – City Hotels, attended the event.
