Richard Murcott, a young Sri Lankan entrepreneur based in the Maldives, became the ‘Win a Million Summer Bonanza’ grand winner, a special summer promotion organised by Alpha Orient Lanka (AOLL) along with HSBC.
“When the Alpha Marketing Manager gave me the exciting news over the phone, I thought a friend was trying to pull my leg. For someone who has not even won ten rupees through the lottery, one million rupees was too good to be true!” the thrilled grand winner said.
