Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel in collaboration with its parent company, SLT conducted a Business Solutions Forum for Small and Medium Enterprises in Ratnapura, themed ‘Accelerating your Business’.
The forum saw a wide array of over 150 participants from sectors of banking, plantations, tourism, gemmology and services including representatives from the Chamber of Commerce, opinion leaders as well as the management of Mobitel and SLT. Webcasting was enabled throughout the programme where it could be viewed live via the website or smartphones accessing Mobitel’s mEvent platform.
The programme included a product presentation by Chamith Hettiarachchi, Head of Business Solutions, Mobitel, followed by a live demonstration of the products introduced. Sanjeewa Jayamaha, DGM – SME Sales Support, SLT conducted a presentation on fixed-line solutions for SMEs. Ranjith Pathmasiri, Deputy Director General – Operations, Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority who was the featured SME expert for this forum addressed participants on optimising electricity consumption to enhance profits.
