Noritake workshop introduced the fine art of hand painted porcelain to customers.
Noritake Lanka Porcelain conducted a workshop for customers to experience and learn about crafting decorative porcelain. The workshop, organized at the Noritake City Store, Colombo 7 showcased the creative process of producing its hand painted collection. Noritake encompasses an exquisite hand painted porcelain range that is unique to Sri Lanka.
Noritake’s in-house artists demonstrated the traditional hand painting techniques and materials used to produce the beautiful collection.
The skilled artists are trained in Japan and each handcrafted artwork delivers uncompromised quality and distinctiveness to the Noritake brand.
Customers were given the opportunity to witness the various stages of applications. The process begins as the artist traces an image onto white porcelain and paints the design with vibrant colors. The workshop also offered customers to create their own drawings. The intricately designed patterns can accommodate an array of personal preferences.
