Ramada Colombo has embarked on a complete transformation of its product. A four star hotel and one of the first in the city, it is currently also a part of an international chain with over 7,000 hotels worldwide. Setting itself up for the Island’s changing tourism landscape, Ramada Colombo has announced an investment outlay of over 900 million rupees for this grand renovation.
The renovation will encompass all areas of the Ramada Hotel from the lobby to the rooms, restaurants and banqueting hall, and will be of contemporary design with a myraid of functionalities sought by the modern traveller.
The first phase of the Hotel’s renovation will encompass all 94 rooms and will be completed by September 2013. As the tourism industry is picking up, Ramada Colombo prepares for busier times ahead.
