The Firs is a heritage bungalow located in a picturesque hillock in Nuwara Eliya. The original bungalow was built nearly two centuries ago, but the Firs ensures every modern comfort while retaining the ambience of a time-gone by.
The Firs is all about luxury and offers two spacious suites and three deluxe rooms as accommodation options. Each of the two luxuriously comfortable suites has a private dining room, bathroom with jacuzzi, a fireplace, Cable TV and a king-sized bed. The three deluxe rooms also have a fireplace, Cable TV and queen sized bed in each room.
This enchanting bungalow is a perfect place to relax and unwind in a cool climate. For those who want more vigorous activity, there are boat rides on Lake Gregory, numerous walking and Nature tracks around Nuwara Eliya, the golf course at the Victoria Golf Club or an afternoon exploring Nuwara Eliya town. It’s a great place to base yourself as you explore other areas of the hill country.
The Firs is a cosy place to relax if you prefer to stay indoors, and has a dining area, a Game room (offering pool, darts and various card games) as well as Phillip’s Attic Bar and Cigar Room which offers a range of local and foreign brands.
