Bocuse d’Or, dubbed the “Oscars of the culinary industry” by Alan Palmer, International Culinary Event Organiser, has selected Sri Lanka to participate in the Asian Finals, which will be held in Shanghai from June 12 to 14, 2012. The first round of competitions to choose the most eligible young chef of Sri Lanka to participate in the Asian Finals.
The Bocuse d’Or Asia Sri Lanka Chapter, which belongs to the Bocuse d’Or Asia is headed by Rohan Fernandopulle, Executive Chef of Hilton Colombo, Anura Dewapura, General Manager Mount Lavinia Hotel and Alan Palmer with Hilton, Dilmah, Chaine des Rotisseurs and Nestle Professional acting as main sponsors for this prestigious event.
