Since time immemorial tourism in Sri Lanka has fared well and grown in leaps and bounds. The reason for this phenomenal growth is attributed to the many natural and scenic locations. However, there was a period of time in the history of Sri Lanka, when certain parts of the country were inaccessible due to the conflict. The gallant effort of the armed forces in eradicating terrorism has now helped to rewrite the annals of tourism in Sri Lanka from a new perspective. This has demanded major improvements to the existing infrastructure and creation of new tourist attractions. Taking this advantage into consideration, Sea Lanka Luxury Yachts has ventured to improve and create new avenues in the offshore sectors of tourism, which they feel are not adequately and wholly exploited. Therefore, a vessel, aptly named “Floating Paradise”, has been launched for holiday-makers in Sri Lanka.
Sea Lanka Luxury Yachts in its initial stages has invested in this sector of tourism, to provide an unparalleled cruising experience in areas of activities, such as whale and dolphin watching, recreational fishing, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, and water jet skiing. Further, it has included corporate activities, get-togethers and vacations. It is indeed a floating paradise.
Sea Lanka Yachts invites guests to experience the gentle offshore breeze as they glide along the waves, admire the crystal blue sea and sunshine, enjoy the sights and sounds of the Indian Ocean and the most spectacular panorama of its skyline, appreciate and explore the wonders of nature that lie within the deep blue sea.
It provides all these remarkable experiences in the comfort of the luxurious interior of the yacht, which has the capacity to accommodate approximately 15 – 20 passengers, including a variety of packages and a variety of cuisine and refreshments. The luxurious air-conditioned interior consists of three cabins, a lovely lounge area and BBQ facilities on the upper deck complete with a panoramic view.
The “Floating Paradise” is anchored in the Port of Colombo. Packages are planned for journeys around the paradise isle, with inter-coastal stopovers. Travelling is possible from Colombo along the southern coastal region beyond Hikkaduwa, Mirissa, Hambantota, Oluwil and all the way to Trincomalee. The Northern route extends all the way to Kalpitiya. Sea Lanka also provides the favourite sunset cruise during rough sea conditions. Relax and enjoy the lively activities and the amazing comfort guests can experience, under the dazzling sun and sparkling stars.
