Singapore based interactive digital media company Steam Powered Productions launches The Jade Legend, the first story in an eight-part series titled The Wee Adventures of Shabu Shabu. The launch in Sri Lanka follows close on the heels of the global launch in Singapore.
The Wee Adventures of Shabu Shabu tells the story of a young rabbit’s adventures around the world, and is brought to life through stunning illustrations. The story aims to promote intellectual curiosity in children, and emphasises innovation, perseverance and family values.
Bringing Shabu’s adventures to life is Co-Author Kristina Thornton, Co-Author and Illustrator Michael Csokas and Ola Olaniyi, CEO of Steam Powered Productions.
“Shabu is a coming-of-age adventure story that spans cultures and connects with people of all ages. The concept for the story is based on a pet rabbit that grabbed the attention of my students,” says Kristina, Regional Head Teacher and a full-time English teacher for GEOS Language Centre in Singapore.
The Jade Legend comes to life in over 40 pages of illustrations and is available at leading bookstores. It is also available at the AppStore and Google Play Store.
