With over two decades of experience in the industry, the Traditional Gem Mine opened their new showroom at St Anthony’s Mawatha, Colombo 3. The new store is designed with ample space for the customers to browse and purchase jewellery. The store presents a unique collection of handcrafted Sri Lankan jewellery, on par with international standards and also affords customers a valuable learning experience through a documentary film on traditional gem mining in Sri Lanka.
The gemstones are extracted from original sources and embellished with different cutting methods by skilled craftsmen. The jewellery is designed to reach out to different international markets including Middle East and Europe.
Their collections present an array of precious and semi precious stones, embedded in a range of metals including gold, silver, white gold and platinum. For instance precious stones such as Rubies and Sapphires and semi precious stones such as Topaz and Aquamarine adorn their selections. The products are accredited by the Gemological Institute of America.
