Tsing Tao will be Colombo’s latest restaurant as it opens its doors to discerning diners this December. Specialising in Chinese cuisine, with a particular focus on seafood, Tsing Tao is located along the newly renovated Race Course Promenade at Reid Avenue. The full range of Chinese cuisine, from Sichuan to Cantonese, Hong Kong-style dishes to those from old-style Peking and cosmopolitan Shanghai will all be included in the diverse variety of dishes that will be served up. While Seafood will be the star, it will be perfectly complemented by meat and vegetarian dishes. Fresh produce, authentic condiments from China and traditional cooking techniques combine to produce great results.
The team of chefs are headed by an Executive Chef from China’s Guangzhou province, ensuring the authenticity and excellence of the prepared dishes. Tsing Tao, which can comfortably accommodate up to 200 diners, will be open daily for lunch and dinner.
